I have admired your work over the many years. You have never failed to exude brilliance with your acting acumen. I always believed you in what ever role you inhabited. Par Excellance!
I just watched you video on FB. I know that you are brilliant soul, but also a very compassionate one. You made a great point/question. Who are we if our job defines the entirety of who we are. It is not who we truly are, but just a role or service we have dedicated our lives for.
The late Dr. Wayne Dyer put it succinctly: “If your are what you do, when you don’t, you aren’t“.
On a personal note. “He who is without sin, cast the first stone”. We have all made some bad choices through out our lives, but a bad choice should not define us. One could make a thousand right choices and just one mistaken choice can be judged as the full measure of us ?.
We are all imperfect, flawed in so many ways. It is called BEING HUMAN. “Judge Not, Lest Ye Be Judged.
I offer my support Mr Spacey. You deserve so much better. If perhaps you were just Joe who works at the grocery store and had a little absence of judgement, you could just get on with your life and no one would ever know. You, however are super star in your chosen craft and the world got to witness and judge. Just patently unfair! What ever happened to the honorable act of forgiveness?
I hope that your TRUE friends remained and have continued to support you.
I hope some day that I have the privilege to seeing you preform again.
Hang in there Mr. Spacey, the world need greatness, the world needs you!
