Dear Mr. Speacy,
I just saw your interview with Piers Morgan today. I’m a 40-year-old Italian who, for almost 15 years of my life, had to endure the most terrible accusations from former clients (I was a lawyer): it ruined my life and that of my family.
So I know the taste of those tears.
It’s now been about a month since a judge finally understood that all those accusations were false and artfully fabricated by my former law partner. It was a bitter, belated victory, which will hardly restore the peace I once had.
My father got cancer. Fortunately, he recovered.
Nothing in the world is worse than the envy of one’s colleagues. Like the phoenix, we will rise from the most brilliant ashes, and all this pain will have been for something, I hope.
Just to say that I’m close to you, even if it’s certainly impossible to imagine the pain and torment behind such accusations.
Have a good life,
Alfredo
