I live in the UK. I understand, to a degree, what you are going through. I pretty much lost the love of my life, my guitars (as I have been a musician for near 40 years), well, I lost everything dear to me through addiction. So I know that fear, that fear that says the worst to you to try and kick you to the ground.
In a profound way it’s purging, you can feel free, and I also know the incredible value of the most simplest of things. Don’t let the fear consume you… Who the hell am I to tell you what’s best???
Just make best of what you have, and grow again. Fu*k the fear. You got this, hang in there, and mighty forces will come to your aid. I just wish you the best, and if you’re in the UK, and need some support, let me know.
